    Dental on the Banks Turns 5!

    Dental on the Banks is now five! We opened back in 2019 and are now going five years strong here on the Canford Cliffs high street, helping our amazing patients with all of their teeth and smile needs for half a decade now! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us recently – including the mayor and mayoress of Poole, our associates and partners from over the years and even some patients who have been with us since day one! Below you can see more pictures from our 5th birthday party and recount some of our achievements over the past five years.

    We have grown to become the official number one provider of Invisalign in not just Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole – but the entire south of England! Dental on the Banks is an Apex Blue Diamond II Invisalign provider (the highest possible tier available) and Dr. Ramtin and Dr. Damon, our Invisalign Orthodontic Specialists, are also officially among the top 300 Invisalign Orthodontic Specialists in the entire world!

    It has been our pleasure to treat so much of the local community and beyond over the years, including the Redknapps and their wonderful granddaughter Molly. The football connection doesn’t end there however as we have also been the offical dentist for the AFC Bournemouth team for the last three years in a row too! It is important for us to play an active role in our community and this is one of our many collaborations we nurture.

    Brands have taken notice of our Passion for Perfection – with Enlighten teeth whitening designating us as a regional centre of excellence to offer their premium teeth whitening treatment. Over the years we have also been shortlisted for and won numerous awards related to our clinic, our team’s care for our patients and even for our before and after smile transformations which have been deemed as truly life-changing.

    Our partnerships have seen us collaborate with AFC Bournemouth, Loving Life Lillie, Mint Barbershops, Priva Parties, Sandpolo, The Cliff, The Nici Bournemouth, West Hants Club and so many more from day one. These were key players in the massive raffle we organised to raise funds for the NHS during the covid-19 crisis along with the giveaways we have run over the years. The most recent of which (to mark our 5th birthday) saw a grand prize of an Invisalign and teeth whitening smile makeover be won with two runner-up places collecting a variety of gifts, vouchers and prizes from these brands and businesses too! We love being an active collaborator with our amazing peers.

    Introducing our Brand New Extension!

    We are delighted to introduce you to our brand new extension with this upstairs area now open here at Dental on the Banks! With this extension we now have an additional beautiful waiting area, an additional two state-of-the-art treatment rooms, new offices and an extra bathroom too!

    When expanding our custom-built clinic, it was important for us to continue with the level of luxury, attention to detail and expertise that our patients know and expect from us. Therefore we ensured that like with our current client design, every aspect of the extension was custom designed so that our Passion for Perfection could extend into this new upstairs area. Of course the little details that our patients know and love – such as our complimentary bottles of Fiji water and signature Diptyque fragrance points – remain.

    To establish a sense of continuity and flow, at the stairs we incorporated a lit-up marble wall emblazoned with our DOTB logo – just like what we have at our reception area on the ground floor. For the mezzanine waiting area, clear glass panelling was chosen to not only retain a light and airy feel but also to echo the open glass design of our ground floor consultation room. The waiting area itself incorporates leafy greens, vines and tendrils for a stylistic change from our standout blue tree from the ground floor waiting area. Perhaps most visually arresting is that of the walls in this area which feature a series of built out and recessed areas that are beautifully backlit, resulting in an eye-catching and tactile display of interior design prowess.

    Introducing our Brand New Extension!

    Both of the new treatment rooms feature our thickly padded dental chairs, modern strip wall and ceiling lighting and were designed to be airy and spacious instead of cold and cramped. With two new offices and an additional bathroom upstairs too; this was a great example of both form and function combining to bring our patients the next level (quite literally!) of care and attention to detail to their teeth, smiles and oral health overall.     We offer Invisalign for children (as young as six years old) in Bournemouth here at Dental on the Banks with our friendly, specialist team. Invisalign is the modern, discreet and comfortable way to straighten teeth – using a series of clear trays worn on the teeth. As they are clear, they are virtually invisible when worn and your child can take them out of their mouth whenever they go to eat, drink or brush their teeth. This makes them a great way to fit into any lifestyle while working to perfectly straighten your child’s teeth and also correct bite function and jaw misalignment too!

    Some parents have expressed frustration at the length of time NHS waitlists take for braces / orthodontic work for their children – especially as their teeth and smile can affect their confidence. Due to this, many parents come to us for Invisalign for their children, here in our custom-built clinic in Bournemouth (on the Canford Cliffs high street). We are proud to offer all of our patients a premium experience at the dentist; with modern touches such as ceiling mounted TVs to watch during treatment, comfortable treatment rooms and waiting areas, complimentary teas and coffees and our signature Diptyque fragrances throughout.     Both of our Invisalign Orthodontic specialists, Dr. Ramtin and Dr. Damon, have officially been ranked by Invisalign as among the top 300 specialists in the world. As such, your child receives world class care and experience when they have the Invisalign treatment with them. To ensure not only perfect results but also perfect aftercare for your child, they are also provided with complimentary bonded / fixed retainers after their treatment too. These are thin strips of metal placed out of sight behind the teeth and are regarded as the gold standard of straight tooth retention for life. Note that not all dental clinics can offer these as they are a treatment sensitive technique; but we include them as complimentary for all of our Invisalign patients.
